Matthais Often funky like hell, always with a alot of bluesfeeling, mixed with some ballads. I´m going for the funky stuff! Favorite track: I Can't See Her Face.

Killing It 03:54
KILLING IT Killing it with my leg machine Killing it with my feet Killing it with my bare hands Killing it with my meat Killing it from the roof top Killing it from the bed Killing it Killing it Killing it ‘till it’s dead Thank you momma for switching the ignition On my hydromatic leg machine I’m pushing and I’m pulling I don’t know what the hell I’m doing But what I’m doing sure feels good to me Yes I’ve seen the doubt I’ve felt the fear I’ve seen my enemy And I built them all up Now I’m breaking them down I’m killing it by decree Killing it with my leg machine Killing it with my feet Killing it with my bare hands Killing it with my meat Killing it from the roof top Killing it from the bed Killing it Killing it Killing it ‘till it’s dead You need protection from this social infection From this psychological disease How can something that ain’t real Make your mind and body feel Like bringing you down to your knees Yes I’ve seen the doubt I’ve felt the fear I’ve seen my enemy And I built them all up Now I’m breaking them down I’m killing it by decree I know that it’s hard when you realise That there’s no devil in the sea And there’s no god in the sky But the fear that you feel can be exorcised By the realisation that you’re an animal Who should feel lucky to be alive Killing it with my leg machine Killing it with my feet Killing it with my bare hands Killing it with my meat Killing it from the roof top Killing it from the bed Killing it Killing it Killing it ‘till it’s dead

Old Joe 02:58
OLD JOE Strong as iron Black as coal Found in the barn as an old dog’s bowl We got him out We brought him back Rust to dust Back to black Old Joe What do you know? Old Joe What do you know? Walls have ears Doors have teeth His mouth’s wide open So hear him speak Time is flavour Memory is sweet Smell that food See that street Old Joe What do you know? Old Joe What do you know? Old Joe what do you know Well the world has given you a soul Now cook me up something I’ve never tasted before Hand-me-down beans Second hand meat Salt and pepper Sugar and sweet Sing me a recipe Send me to sleep I dream of potatoes I dream of sheep Old Joe What do you know? Old Joe What do you know?

SHEL SILVERSTEIN Voice of my Mother Voice of my Father They lifted the words from the page And ever since then After listening to them I’ve never acted my age There’s a light in the attic And I know where the sidewalk ends Shel Siverstein was my friend Like opening a door Like biting a peach My mind flooded with song Ridiculous truth sayer Ludicrous soothsayer Taught me between right and wrong There’s a light in the attic And I know where the sidewalk ends Shel Siverstein was my friend The world is a drag It’s lonely and said for a boy who’s new in this town But Backwards Bill and God’s Driven Wheel Are friends that won’t let you down There’s a light in the attic And I know where the sidewalk ends Shel Siverstein was my friend Voice of my Mother Voice of my Father Voice of a man dressed in Black Poetry passing from one to another Some words you cannot take back Some words you cannot take back There’s a light in the attic And I know where the sidewalk ends Shel Siverstein was my friend

My mind’s dirty but my hands are clean We can pretend we’re in a submarine And go deep sea funkin in my love machine I ain’t the biggest boy in down But I can sure get down down down And everybody get on your knees I want to cover you in squeezy cheese Want to you to hurt just like I do And I want you to hurt me to YEAH!!!!! REV JACK CROW Way up high on a mountainside Far from the valley below There is a church where a priest resides Named Reverend Jack Crow He was a lighthouse in an ocean of sin As black as the mining town Now he’s the only one left in the whole wide world Since they shut that tunnel down Every single morning he would drag himself up And claw back his ravens hair He’d take a big old lug of the Jesus blood As he saw him hanging there He sat down on his wooden pew He heard a scratching sound And a little brown mouse Crawled over his shoe Across the dirty ground REVEREND JACK CROW IS NO LONGER ALONE! He saw sun and moon in solitude He saw his collar tattered and torn But now he rose with a faith renewed By an angel in rodent form After so long, so lost Now he can finally see And a little brown mouse showed him the way As it sat on his naked knee He let his robe fall to the floor And went out into the snow And that’s the very last thing that we ever heard about Reverend Jack Crow REVEREND JACK CROW IS NO LONGER ALONE!

Heaven 06:18
HEAVEN I had a dream And it was so real Everybody was gone and the city lay quiet and still And time rolled on And the grass grew high And Sunday morning was quiet Every mower in the world had died And let me tell you it was Heaven Heaven on earth Heaven Heaven on earth Heaven that no man deserves And the king of the jungle Roamed around central park And just like they said That ain’t no place to be after dark And the eagle touched down On the branch of a tree That grew from the crown Of the statue of liberty And let me tell you it was Heaven Heaven on earth Heaven Heaven on earth Heaven that no man deserves

Admiral 03:30
Admiral Hurt me once again Let it burn my skin Electrocute me one more time Before the record ends When I was a little boy At the start of my day From the belly of my house I heard the music play It wiped the sleep from my eyes It was an awakening And from the floor beneath my feet Rose the rite of spring Hurt me once again Let it burn my skin Electrocute me one more time Before the record ends Open the basement door Bare feet on the concrete floor It hurt me so bad but I always I always came back for more Admiral 1975 Hi-fi phonostein With both my arms I lift the lid And made him come alive Mechanic arms they danced a jig They grabbed, they drop, they spin I put my head against the cloth And heard the monster sing Hurt me once again Let it burn my skin Electrocute me one more time Before the record ends Open the basement door Bare feet on the concrete floor It hurt me so bad but I always I always came back for more

Desert Inside You There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow Like the rising tide of an ocean made of bone I said brother Don’t you let that desert grow Well I saw you bite an apple And it filled your mouth with sand I saw a red rose become a cactus in your hand You called out for your buddy But no one was in sight They said that you were paranoid But it looks like you were right There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow Like the rising tide of an ocean made of bone I said brother Don’t you let that desert grow Well hope is like a trickle That could become a stream The desert is a dead thing that murders all your dreams Belief is like a mountain that shall not be moved And pain is a window A window to the truth There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow There’s a desert inside you And you cannot let it grow Like the rising tide of an ocean made of bone I said brother Don’t you let that desert grow I turned on my radio And smoke filled the room It filled my lungs with fear And fear is like a tomb And I realised that the human race Is just one man Born into a paradise And filled it up with sand

I CAN’T SEE HER FACE I can’t see her face My arms cannot embrace The body that I chased For so long I’m leaning in for a kiss To get a little taste of bliss My lips they always miss Every time Stumbling through the dark Fumbling for a spark A flash of light that’s here then it’s gone I’ll take the truth , I’ll take a lie I’ll take the signal from my eye And try to tell between right and wrong Don’t you know that there ain’t no trail to take There ain’t no tree to shake To bring this little bird to the ground She got the blurry head Fishing knives instead of legs Carving a way through your brain She got potentially, the potential to potentially The potential to drive you insane Don’t you know that there ain’t no trail to take There ain’t no tree to shake To bring this little bird to the GROOOUUUUUUNNNNNNDDDDDDD Where you go? You good looking thing you I can’t see her face My arms cannot embrace The body that I chased For so long I’m leaning in for a kiss To get a little taste of bliss My lips they always miss Every time

The Line 04:57
THE LINE Lay your head upon my shoulder Tell me all about your day You say you feel a little older And you don’t want to go away It’s impossible to answer But I will try my best Everything you do is frozen And in that ice you will exist And I… I believe in a line And on that line we’ll be dancing You and me and our family I won’t see the clouds of white And I won’t see the fire red I still need something to believe in That I can live with when I’m dead “Don’t even think about it” That’s what my animal would say But I’m not as happy as he is So I search for another way And I… I believe in a line And on that line we’ll be dancing You and me and our family And I… I believe in a line
